What is a first and last name generator for?
Create synthetic first and last name combinations for form testing, spreadsheets, UI mockups, learning, and sample datasets. Built-in language datasets reflect regional spellings. These are not verified identities or a registry of real people.
Privacy
All combinations are generated locally in your browser. Your settings and results are not sent to CrazyFB servers or third-party APIs. This tool uses built-in regional name lists and the Web Crypto API.
Frequently asked questions
How are the names generated?
Names and surnames are randomly combined from built-in regional lists. They are synthetic examples, not verified identities.
Can I generate 1,000 unique names?
Yes. Each dataset offers many name combinations. Keep “Avoid duplicate combinations” enabled. Uniqueness applies within the current batch.
Are gender-specific surnames supported?
Where the language has different surname forms, the tool selects from the corresponding male or female surname list.
Can I export data to CSV?
Yes. CSV includes separate first name, last name, gender, locale, and full name columns for spreadsheets.
Are these real people?
No. The generator does not look up actual people. A generated combination may coincidentally match a real person.
Does any data leave my browser?
No. Generating results, copying them, and preparing downloads happen locally.
